# 00037 - trouvaille 002.2

there are literally thousands of possible follow-ups to the primary entry on sampling (or remixing), but for numerous reasons i chose to complement kirby ferguson's mini-series with two installments by the notorious ivan, creator of hiphopisread and boombapbeatnik, hiphop connoisseur and incomprehensibly a lakers fan (i mean, seriously?).. however, ivan compiled the samples used by the RZA applied in the Wu-Tang Clan's enter the wu-tang (36 chambers) (already in the title alluding to one of the sources) and GZA's liquid swords in two short films, blending not only familiar vocal samples but also memorable moments of film.. furthermore, it highlights the downright nerdish competence of the RZA regarding this b-movie genre, which supposedly earned him not only his job as a musical contributor (i.e. for Ghost Dog and Kill Bill), but also as consultant regarding sound effects and so forth..
